Public Display, San Antonio, February 8
January 16, 2009
Since I was asked recently to display our framed art somewhere accessible to the public, I thought, of course, to display with them my re-creations of the Two Stone Tablets of the Ten Commandments, or “of the Testimony” as they are referred to in Hebrew. Now, as it has turned out, they are the focus of what would have to be called the world’s first public display of these Two Stone Tablets. The company’s artwork will be on display as well.
When I went about looking for a suitable place to host this world’s first public display, I was asked by local hotel sales staff not to have it at a hotel if I thought that a great number of people might come out to see them. Having no notion of how many people from the greater San Antonio area might come to see them, I thought to at least have it at a place where there was plenty of free parking—and the Norris Conference Center at Crossroads Mall is just such a place. Located in the space formerly occupied by what used to be Montgomery Ward department store, it has several large ballrooms and meeting rooms where such an event may be held.
That’s where the Two Stone Tablets will be from 5 pm to 7 pm on Sunday, February 8, 2009. Yes, the time is very limited—but if a great number of people show up to see them, I will arrange for another public display over a period of days and for longer hours.
It is difficult for me, myself, to fully comprehend, the significance of these Two Stone Tablets that are now in the world. I know that when you come to see them that you are absolutely guaranteed a blessing from The Almighty One of Isra’El. It is recorded in Scripture that He said to Moses (Moshe in Hebrew) that, “In every place where I cause My Name to be remembered, I will come to you and I will bless you.” You can find that promise in Exodus (Sh’Mot in Hebrew) 20:24. There are only a few places in the entire world where His Name is engraved in the language (Hebrew) and with the alphabet (Phoenician Paleo-Hebrew) that He would have used to write those Ten Words (Commandments) with, according to Scripture, His Own Finger. These Two Stone Tablets that will be on public display are among those few places.
If you would like to see or experience some signs and wonders, then please, by all means, plan to be present at this world’s first public display. I’ll be there to meet you and to offer my own testimony as to how the presence of these Two Stone Tablets in my own life has brought me personally so close (in a spiritual sense) to the Holy One of Isra’El. Wherever those Two Stone Tablets are, I feel as if I am walking near the holy ground under them.
