Divine Name as Adam Kadmon

In Hebrew, the name Adam Kadmon means every man— and in this illustration (appearing here its sketch form and as an artwork-in-progress), Every Man appears in the form of the modern Hebrew letters Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey, which are the letters that spell (in Hebrew) the Divine Name of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—YHWH, or Yahweh. [Refer to Exodus (Sh’Mot) 3v16.] In this illustration (which our master graphic artist Aundrea Hernandez is in the process of putting into a masterpiece of graphic art) the Hands of YHWH (or Yahweh) are depicted forming, as written in Scripture, a man.

And Elohim said, “Let us make man in Our image, according to our likeness…” —Gen. 1:26
and
And Elohim formed the man out of the dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils breath of life… —Genesis 2:7).

Hebrew Letters of the Divine Name The Hebrew letters, Yod, Hey, Vav, and Hey are arranged to resemble a human figure—as the man formed out of the dust from the ground—in the Hands of Yahweh. The letter Yod is placed as the head of the man. The letter Hey constitutes the upper trunk frame of the man-of-dust, and the second Hey forms the lower half of the man figure—his pelvis and two legs. The letter Vav is in the center of the chest cavity—and forms the heart and internal organs.

The illustration also depicts the opening creation scene as given by Scripture, where, from the waters under the heavens were gathered together into one place: dry land, called earth; and where the light in the expanse of the heavens separates the day from the night, and where Elohim made two great lights—the greater to rule the day and the lesser to rule the night, and the stars.

The inspiration for the sketch was another gift from Yahweh to Tracy Potts, founder and president of HaShem Artworks. The signature in the lower right corner is his given name, Albert E. Potts.

Where Did You Get the Idea for the Two Stone Tablets?

The re-created Two Stone Tablets project exists because we are of the firm conviction that the Elohim (God) of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob has called us to re-create the Two Stone Tablets with the western world’s first authentic replica since the time they were carried off Mount Sinai by Moses (Moshe) some 3500 years ago.

What Do The Two Stone Tablets Look Like?

The re-created Tablets are rough-hewn, just as were the ones written on by the Finger of YHWH. The granite Tablets are about sixteen inches (40cm) wide, about nineteen inches (47.5cm) high, and about two inches (4.7cm) thick. Their coloration is red-brown, with scattered dark splotching as a result of iron oxidation, virtually identical to the color of the granite of the mountain chain where we believe Mount Sinai was located. The Tablets are displayed on a specially designed table with two lazy susans that allow the Tablets to turn freely front to back.

Why Should My Congregation Acquire the Two Stone Tablets?

They are written in the same type of writing (Phoenician Paleo-Hebrew) as was written by the Finger of Elohim—according to Scripture. They contain His own Testimony in His own words as to His Name (Yahweh) and Who He Is—our Eloh (Mighty One); as well as His commandments regarding how we are to live our lives. And when we take His Testimony on its own terms in the original language we will experience a paradigm shift—a shift toward What and Who He is actually is and away from who we want Him to be so that He fits comfortably into our own paradigm.

Since there are no other known places on earth where His Name as He gave it has been remembered in this manner, perhaps the most important consideration for acquiring these authentic Two Stone Tablets is the further testimony given by Yahweh as recorded in Exodus (Sh’Mot) 20v24, “In every place where I cause My Name to be remembered I will come to you and I will bless you.”
